We are a family owned small business located in Tempe, AZ since 1969, and founded by longtime resident Udell Busch. She was soon joined by her husband Ed, and together they worked the store until their retirement in 1995. Originally located in downtown Tempe at 707 S. Myrtle, the “Den” was one of the first trophy shops in the East Valley. Ed and Udell were active in the Tempe community and avid fans of Arizona State University.
The store remained open in the iconic red building on Myrtle until 2006 when the changing landscape of downtown Tempe prompted a move to it’s current location at 202 W. Southern Ave., in the Red Devil Center. In 2012, the Busch couple’s son, John, brought the business back into the Busch family. John brings with him his experience from 28 years as a teacher and coach in the Tempe Union High School District.
